Abby Jones

About going to the bathroom, "Papa says shake it off, mama wipes"

Wiskit = lipstick

Band-aid = van or band-aid or rubber band

"can we sing 'so pretty in the sky is on the faces'?" which means "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong

"wat dat noisy" means "what's that noise?"

"do you hear dat windy?" means "do you feel that wind" as you put your hands up and rub your fingers and thumb together like the money changers here do

"where did you get that? who bought it for you? did you say thank you?"  You ask this about every item of clothing I wear.

You've got a head full of curls and I don't know where they came from but they are ADORABLE. They are wild and crazy just like you. FEARLESS. You dive into the pool on a whim even though you can't quite swim on your own yet. If I give you a push you can get to the side and pull yourself out, though. You hate to wear clothes and look for any reason to take them off. You have to go pee-pee ALL THE TIME. You love to spill your water at meal time. At bed time you want me to rub your arm, your back, your stomach, and on and on. You say "kickle me, mama, kickle me." You love for me to watch you run as fast as you can. You love to climb the tree in the front yard. You say, "I want to go pee-pee in my baby class." You want to take your little back-pack everywhere as if you are going to school. You and I go to Nakumat together almost every morning. All the staff there love you so much. You have started talking "baby talk" and asking me to hold you like a baby. I think we both are in denial that you are a big girl now! You are such a good girl and obey mama and papa very well. You love for Iddy to read the "eww yuck!" book to you ("baby faces") and you like it when Iddy lays with you at night. You've still got those oh so kissable baby cheeks. I love you, my angel!
