Ruth Michael, this is what your teacher, Mrs. Elizabeth from Kids' world preschool at Campus Church of Christ, said about you:

"I can so see Ruth Michael being in her own world. I think that's why we got along so well. I knew that she was engaged just by observing her, but she never hovered. I'd be doing something and look up to see her playing this great game with whatever was out - Beanie Babies, or plastic animals, or anything else. It's a good skill to have, and one I'm trying to teach my kids who don't have that come naturally to them."

You are amazingly insightful and mature. You sense when I am flustered or down, and you calm my spirit by giving me long, tight hugs, which I can't resist! You always finish off with a kiss. What could make my heart happier?

One night I was praying with you in bed and I prayed that you would know how much I love you. You squeezed me tight and pulled my ear to your mouth and whispered, "I do know how much you love me, you love me so much!"

Jen was here visiting us for a few days and you overheard her talking to Anyango on the phone. You asked her what was wrong, and she explained that Anyango wasn't feeling well and was really missing Jen. Sensing that this was something that needed attention but knowing that our dinner guests had just arrived, you said, "We've got visitors now but we can talk more about this later."
