We were going through your books today and I pulled out, "He's got the whole world in his hands." I remembered how much you used to love that book. I must have read it to you a million times in our old house on Tom Mboya Road. You would say, "ah ho-wow, mama!" Which meant, I want the Whole World book. Rose couldn't figure out what you meant at first so I told her and we really laughed. You and Rose had such a special relationship. We all went to eat lunch together at Osteria today. There was a lady selling dresses upstairs so we went and got you one. You chose pink, of course. There were these really cute Indian-style pants that Papa wanted you to get, and there was this really cute over-all style dress that I wanted you to get, but you wanted the pink sun dress of course. And there is no sense in getting you something that you don't pick out because you just won't wear it and that is not a battle that I want to fight with you about. You are really good at remembering where things are. I was trying to remember where my water bottle was, and you said, "you put it down when we were playing with dolls and then you took it outside to play ping pong and you left it there." You are so much like me!
